 Blue Bayou Packages & Rates
All packages have the option of two different locations in the below packaged price options. The coast minutes from the marina, or the highlands just an hour away. With a two day fishing group we usually suggest staying in La Antigua Guatemala. The drive and tempature are both very comfortable, as well as the freedom to walk around after a day of fishing is enjoyable. Antigua also has many incredible shops, night life, and 5 star restaurants.
On the other hand for 3 to 5 days of fishing, we would suggest that the pacific coast is the better option. Just minutes from the Marina as well as very warm and relaxing. Both have their benifts. The choice is yours. Ask about additional tours in either location, as well as suggestions based on your ideal itinerary. If you are bringing someone who will not be fishing, you can rest assure that they will be taken care of with suggested site seeing. The packages displayed are for both options located in the matrix below. First thing is first please choose your boat!
Our Fleet
Placeres (Pacific Fleet)
This boat is a 30 foot by 9.5 beam classic design Albemarle. She has been refitted with two diesel Yanmar 240's, and cruises very solidly at 22 knots with a top end of 25 knots if the sea is permitting. This boat is greatly efficient with usually just 60 to 70 gallons needed for a full days run. We include Shimano TLD 20's and 30's. Also we have a great stereo system with an ipod hook up for personal play lists. Lastly this boat does come with a electric head in the below cabin.

This Seaswirl is a new addition to our growing fleet. She is perfect for everything Guatemala has to offer. From a sleek bottom that is perfect for attracting bill fish, to down riggers for yellow fin, we are ready for all species. This boat will be pushed by twin 200 hp yamaha 4 strokes that will get you fishing waters quickly at a comfortable 30 to 35 knots. She will have a GPS, Chart Plotter, and fish finder by Standard systems. This type of boat is fun to pitch a fly from. Big, yet compact.

The Fat Cat (Pacific Fleet)
The Fat Cat is a 30 foot Hydrocat Catamaran with new twin 225 Yamaha four strokes, a Yamaha fuel management system and a tower with complete controls. She has a complete Raytheon system including 2 GPS’, a fish finder and a radar. She has a small cabin with a bathroom, carries over 300 gallons of fuel, has fresh water, a shower, a salt water wash down system, a Sirius radio system, a live well, huge fish boxes, a dive platform and ladder, plenty of shade and lots of fishing space.

La Picasso (Caribbean Fleet)
Designed by a local German boat producer in Guatemala. The Picasso (Picasso meaning big bite in Spanish) is a sleek deep V center counsel panga that is different from your typical panga. She is a proven economical approach, and very quick reaches cruising speeds of 30 knots. This boat is located at our Atlantic lodge in Rio Dulce where we focus on giant jungle tarpon and trips to southern Belize for fly fishing. This boat is perfect for poling in flats and has plenty of pitch room in the bow for Belize flat fishing. She has a GPS, Fish Finder system, Large Fish Boxes, MP3 Adapter, 70 gallon fuel tank with a 20 gal reserve, 15’ outriggers, T Top for Shad, and a stocked cooler of the coolest beer in Guatemala! Great boat for all types of fishing, and even better for the narrow jungle rivers that we fish on the Atlantic.
Equipment consist of 30 lb test Penn, Quantum spinning, as well as Abel fly gear.
